So this prevents me from working on OS X from a shared Win/Mac partition. Any chance at all of this getting fixed or looked at?Įdit 2 : Fun fact, on OS X, on either an exFAT drive or an NTFS drive (with the Tuxera NTFS driver), Unity thinks that the filesystem is case sensitive and won't load any project. I already created a support ticket with MacDrive, but is there something that can be done on the Unity side?Įdit : MacDrive says it's not their fault, but Unity probably accesses the filesystem in particular ways that aren't compatible with their emulation/drivers. It doesn't seem to realize that empty folders are empty. I installed MacDrive 9, latest version, and it's reading from and writing to my shared partition properly.īut when I open a Unity project on this partition, Unity complains with a "Refresh case sensitivity failure" about meta files, and importing packages or creating new projects fails entirely. I have a shared partition between my OS X install and my Win7 install, which is formatted in HFS+ (Mac OS Extended, Journaled), which should be case insensitive. I'm on a Boot Camp Win7-64 install on a Mac. There's a lot of variables in this issue, but I figured asking in the forums was worth a shot.
